At present, there are 216 textile and garment industry clusters across the country. The number of enterprises above the designated size, main business income, and profits in the cluster account for approximately 41%, 43%, and 45% of the enterprises above the designated size in the textile industry, respectively. Wujiang, Jiangyin, Changshu of Jiangsu, Xiaoshan, Keqiao, Tongxiang of Zhejiang, Jinjiang, Changle of Fujian, Puning of Guangdong and other key textile and apparel industry clusters have annual main revenues exceeding 100 billion yuan.
The symposium discussed the "Evaluation System for the Regional Development Potential of the Textile Industry", used the evaluation system to evaluate and test the development potential of industrial clusters, proposed solutions for the high-quality development of industrial clusters, helped the industrial clusters to find gaps in time, and filled shortcomings.
In order to give full play to the role of industrial and information management departments at all levels, promote the high-quality development of the textile and apparel industry cluster, and cultivate a world-class advanced textile and apparel industry cluster, the participating units jointly established a coordinated and coordinated promotion of high-quality textile and apparel industry clusters.
