On December 8th, the founding meeting of the High Performance and High Function Fiber Branch of the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and the industrial chain exchange seminar were held in Keqiao. Wang Yongsheng, director of the Market Promotion Department of the China Chemical Fiber Association, reviewed the background and historical evolution of the establishment of the High Performance and High Function Fiber Branch of the China Chemical Fiber Association. He stated that high-performance and high-functional fibers, as the core materials for the innovation and upgrading of the textile industry, are important engines for strengthening the resilience of the industrial chain and driving the industry towards high-end development. To build a platform for industrial exchanges and cooperation, consolidate the development synergy of the industry, and accelerate the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of high-performance and high-functional fibers as well as their advancement to new heights, the association has adjusted the High-tech Fiber Professional Committee to the High-performance and High-Functional Fiber Branch, clearly positioning its service targets as enterprises specializing in "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" high-performance and differentiated/composite, functional chemical fiber products.
At the meeting, the new organizational structure of the High Performance and High Function Fibers Branch of the China Chemical Fiber Association was formed. Among them, 10 enterprises serve as vice president units. Wang Yongsheng, director of the Market Promotion Department of the China Chemical Fiber Association, serves as the secretary-general, and Yuan Ye of the China Chemical Fiber Association serves as the deputy secretary-general.
